Pro Scene and Cheaters

  • 0
The situation is starting to get awkward, from the viewers perspective, the amazing skill that we see and try to reproduce isn't just skill in some cases.

One of Titan's star players Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian has just been banned by Valve Anti-Cheat. In news that will undoubtedly shake the CS:GO competitive scene, minutes ago Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian's Steam account showed 1 VAC ban on record. After the recent ban that ESEA handed to ALTERNATE's player Simon "smn" Beck, many speculations about other top players cheating arose in the scene. This afternoon Beck himself received a VAC ban, along with Titan's player.

Private hacks, silent aim, workshop and steam cloud hosted hacks is what's being referred on the community, online and lan as well.

Two shocking cases so far: KQLY and Emilio.

Do you remember the 1vs1 from KQLY against pasha that decided the 1st map on the semi-finals at ESL One? Was that an action of the silent aim?

The declarations of Faru "pita" Pita on his twitter, have also been causing some disorder in the community.
The question thou is - will Valve have the balls to ban all the "cheaters" prior to Dreamhack? If so, the tournament will be a bit weird :P
Will we see more pro players getting a VACation?
